Aerpro CHBM8C steering wheel control (SWC) interface allows you to retain steering wheel controls in your BMW models without Harmon Kardon amplified systems, when upgrading to an aftermarket headunit. The interface includes a chime speaker which retains audible vehicle alerts including Oil/Washer Fluid Level, Door Open, Seat Belt and Parking Sensor Audio. The steering wheel control interface includes a harness that is fitted with a vehicle specific plug designed to connect directly into the existing wiring in the vehicle with ease.
Allows you to upgrade to an aftermarket headunit whilst maintaining use of your factory steering wheel controls
Increases driver safety by allowing you to keep your hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road
Supports OEM Phone Button when connected to compatible aftermarket bluetooth headunits

Retains OEM Parking Sensor Audio And Warning Tones Such As Oil/Washer Fluid Level, Door Open And Seat Belt
Provides output feeds for park brake, reverse gear and speed pulse

Permanent 12V wire must be connected directly to vehicle battery for models with BMW Professional Headunit
